Setting the supply chain bar

Balmoral’s supply chain team is committed to world class service Balmoral’s supply chain team is committed to world class service

A world class business requires a world class supply chain. Clients need to have 100% confidence that they are receiving the very best products from the very best supplier in the market.

This, in turn, demands a high standard of supply chain management to ensure raw materials, equipment and accessories are all produced to the same exacting standards as undertaken here at Balmoral.

Balmoral’s dedicated supply chain department is in place to ensure only the very best suppliers are chosen and that they fully conform to the company’s strict performance and ethical criteria.

Gary Forbes, procurement manager, heads up the team and oversees all procurement policies, procedures and supply chain management. He is ably supported by Duncan Greig who has responsibility for planning and stock control activities.

With Brexit affecting the supply chain Sandra Proctor is focused on mitigating the risks involved with the enormous changes expected – and unexpected.

Together with their supporting teams the supply chain department is in place to identify, mitigate and minimise disruption to BOE projects, from planning to dispatch.

Gary Forbes said: “Balmoral works to the very highest standards and expects its suppliers to do the same. We have built up very good relationships with our key suppliers who understand the importance of quality, value, on time and on budget supply.

“We are constantly seeking ways to improve our service to clients and an efficient supply chain is central to our continuing policy of providing the best product solutions in the market at the best possible price.”
